Shaun has a new heart. Marrie is Jacob’s mother. She grieves for Jacob whose heart has been donated to a young transplant patient, Shaun Now her only wish is that she will feel his heart beating again but Shaun is headstrong, rude and a Goth. The last thing he wants is to feel that his new heart is not his. He wants to live his own life and not for someone else to lay claim to his heart. Nicki Shaun’s sister, wants him to value his new heart and understand the magnitude of his good fortune. She arranges for Marrie to visit Shaun, a difficult meeting where Shaun is rebellious. Marrie’s hopes are shattered and Nicki reveals an ulterior motive that stuns both Shaun and Marrie into re-evaluating their feelings.
